Find out what life in this country really looks and feels like on an open safari truck.
Visit the huge sugar cane fields, try the sugar cane, drive through the villages, visit a school and greet the children on site, visit a small cigar factory and a typical ranch where you can find local products such as cocoa, coffee and pineapple can try, etc.
Enjoy a boat trip on the infamous Chavón River.

* Lunch at the local ranch and visit to the Altos de Chavón / ride with buggies and quads in the area (optional).

Learn about the Dominican Republic outside of the holiday area. And trust us, it’s something completely different. We will be driving a typical safari truck that will take us to the endless sugar cane plantations, where we will see how it is cut and then transported, and we will also have the opportunity to try it. Then visit a typical Dominican village with its local school and cigar factory.

Then we take a boat trip on the famous Chavón River, where the blockbusters Rambo 2, Apocalypse Now, Anaconda and many others were filmed.

We then stop at a typical ranch to try local products such as cocoa, mamajuana, pineapple and papaya. You will then return to Bayahibe at 1:30 p.m.

a) Have typical Dominican lunch in the ranch and continue the tour on buggies&quads in the surrounding areas.

Why is this tour our absolute BESTSELLER?

One might ask – what is the difference between our excursion Safari Emotion and numerous other seemingly identical Safari tours offered by other agencies?

Well, let us break it down for you:

  1. The groups we have include only up to 25 people.
  2. We provide personalized attention in various languages.
  3. Our tour offers the option of combining Safari experience with an adventure on buggies&quads or a visit to the enchanting Altos de Chavón.
