You will be explained and showed the processes of growing, maintaining and producing coffee and cocoa, and then you will have a chance to taste these freshly produced drinks! Apart from that, the rancho offers quite a range of local organic products to buy, such as many different oils, spices and, of course, coffee and cocoa.
Next, you will take a Safari truck that will take you all the way up to the Mountain Redonda. The 360-degree mountain and sea views are jaw-dropping, among the DR’s most cinematic. Nature lover will definitely enjoy the luscious green of surroundings that stand in great contrast with the turquoise blue water of the ocean. On clear days you can see until Samaná de la Mar and far away the silhouettes of the mountains in Samaná. Breathtaking! The highlights are the various giant swings, hammocks and brooms set on the mountain which allow for unique photos as they let you glide far over the edge of the mountain. The is also a possibility for a 2 cable zipline ride over the mountainous area on the one side and the ocean on the other for a symbolic price (15$ per person).
After, you are going to have lunch in one of the local restaurants. Typical Dominican cuisine in abundant quantities. Lobster with a glass of wine are optional (10$ per person).
Finally, you will be driven to visit and enjoy one of the most talked about beaches of the area of Punta Cana, the infamous Playa Macao. It is known for its swells and trade winds. The mega-wide, brilliant blonde, palm-tree studded Playa Macao is a surfer’s favorite. Macao is so beautiful that the UNESCO also declared it one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. After having some beach time accompanied obviously by a Cuba Libre, you will be taken back to your hotels.
