Full description

Around 9am you will be picked up by the transfer from Dominicus Americanus/Bayahibe/Hilton La Romana. The excursion starts at 9:30am from the public beach of Bayahibe on a speedboat. The boat will take you to the Natural Caribbean pools, a huge area of crystal clear shallow waters, home to the Caribbean starfish. Here you will be offered drinks (rum, Coca Cola, water) and time to enjoy a refreshing swim (around 35min).

Next the boat will take you to Saona island. The beach is fully equipped with sunbeds, bathrooms and an open bar. Here you will be offered a traditional Dominican lunch (rice, chicken, pork, vegetables and fruits, bread). Free time on the beach for around 3h.

On the way back you will enjoy a ride on a catamaran accompanied by music and animation! You will be back in Bayahibe around 4:30pm and the transfer will take you back to your hotel (Dominicus Americanus/Hilton La Romana).

Itinerary:

8:50am – departure from Hilton La Romana.

9:00am – departure from Dominicus Americanus/Bayahibe.

9:30am – departure from the public beach of Bayahibe.

10:00am – arrival at the Natural swimming pools.

11:45am – arrival to Saona island. Lunch and free time on the beach.

3:00pm – departure for Bayahibe in catamaran.

4:30pm – arrival at Bayahibe, transfer back to Dominicus Americanus/Hilton La Romana.

Main differences between Saona Classic and Saona VIP Canto de la Playa

• Group size: Saona Classic holds up to 100 pax, Saona VIP – not more than 35 pax.
• Saona Classic includes a trip on a catamaran which takes a lot of time. Saona VIP goes on a speedboat both ways saving a lot of time and providing the possibility to spend much more time on the island itself.
• With Saona Classic you only visit the Natural Caribbean pools and one beach, which you share with hundreds of other people, including lunch. With Saona VIP you visit the Natural Caribbean pools, as well as 3 different locations on the island, including the exclusive beach Saona Paradise with VIP area and a much better lunch menu, Mano Juan village and the most beautiful beach of Saona – Canto de la Playa.
